This
trail is maintained by WTA and is in a good condition. Going through
the woods the trail follows the creek. From time to time it offers
views of mountains across the valley .
In about 1.5 mile there is a bridge crossing. According to the last
reports it was broken by a fallen tree; but the bridge is passable
with caution. After 0.7 mile the trail reaches Barclay Lake. The view
of the mountain on the south side of the lake is very impressive.
There are several campsites on the north side of the lake; a backcountry
toilet is available. Don't forget your repellent. |
