Trail:
This is a pleasant hike that starts with the old road winding through the woods along a steep slope. In about one mile the trail drops to the river where there are several campsites. The next 1.3 miles bring you to a magnificent sight of a waterfall on the other side of the river. Right before and right after this spot there are several campsites. For the remaining distance the trail goes through the woods and every now and then the river can be seen. The trail ends at Boulder Ford, which has several campsites. Some time ago the trail use to continue further to Three Fingers lookout, but now it is hard to find. Crossing the river can be a big challenge. Use of livestock is prohibited on the trail.
