Trail
climbs gradually through the woods for 0.7 mile to a bridge crossing.
From this point the trail gets steeper and switchbacks for another
0.7 mile. The trail is very rough with lots of roots and rocks. For
the next two miles the trail goes along the east side of Dorothy Lake
.
Huckleberries are a treat here. There are several campsites, backcountry
toilets are available. Campfires are prohibited at the lake.
From the south side of the lake trail climbs up to the ridge and leads
to Bear, Deer and Snoqualmie lakes and connects with trail
#1002 (Snoqualmie Lake Trail). |
