June 26, 2000

This cross-country trail almost vertically descends through the forest until it reaches boulder field. There is no real trail there, so choose you way carefully toward a small lake with a nice campsite on the south shore. Old trail leads through the trees to Lake Kulla-Kulla , but it is very brushy and hard to get through. One can also make his own way on the boulder field to the lake. The lake is very pretty with clear waters. Several small waterfalls come down Mt. Defiance south-west slope into the lake .
