As
soon as you start on Milk Creek Trail you will cross Suiattle River
on Skyline Bridge. For about 0.3 mile trail goes through the valley
and then starts climbing through the woods for about 0.5 mile. The
rest of the way trail continues through the woods and meadows at times
coming closer to the creek. The trail crosses numerous footbridges.
Good campsites are in 2.5, 4 and 5 miles from trailhead. View of Glacier
Peak is astonishing .
Last 0.5 mile trail switchbacks climbing steeply to PCT #2000. |
