April 18, 2003 A very beautiful hike. Waterfalls galore. Still plenty of snow to make things difficult. Trail is covered with snow after first mile. But still easy to follow. We made it to the falls in 1 1/2 hours. Which is two miles. After that you need snowshoes as the snow is very tough going after that. Since we did not have those with us and the avalanche danger, it was time to turn around. I cannot wait for later spring to complete this hike. Submitted by: V. Anderson
