September 22, 2002 The first mile of the trail is in good condition. Once you get to the fork and veer right towards the creek, the trail deteriorates rapidly. After this, finding the Sulphur Creek Hot Springs is pretty tricky but can be done. The trail description and directions to the springs is very accurate. It is also pretty sketchy in places, yet it makes for a good bushwhacking adventure. The spring is not very deep (big enough for two people to sit) and the water flow is minimal. The water temperature is definitely on the lukewarm side of the gauge. Have fun, but be very careful! Submitted by: JM Perini
